When interior designing your bedrooms, make sure the rooms are cozy and restful in appearance. Avoid bright colors
Save on expensive wall decor, go through magazines, art books or even your child's art work at school and have the picture framed.
Consider an extra cabinet or storage space inside your bedroom or den, they are areas that usually invite clutter.
Use warm flooring on bedroom
If you can, use the same fabric, design and color of the bed-covers as with the curtains. The room will have that "Interior Designed" look.

Nice tips for interior design.Interior designs are not only something that make us feel good, but they are also reflectors of ourselves to the outside world. Curtains and Blinds fall into something that the visitor definitely looks at and forms opinion about the house and about ourselves.Beautiful blind curtains do pass on the sifting sun light and not the entire sunshine. They, in fact, filter the excess sun shine and let the sun light in. Some blinds can filter both the sun light and the sun shine. This function depends on the colors of the blind.

That is so true about bright colors for the paint in a room. Color comes into a room by the decor and accents. Very interesting tips.

Hello guys!

I am a recent graduate in the field of interior design in the twin cities area. I have sent letters, resumes and work samples to what seems like fifty different design firms and companies with no luck. It seems like nobody is hiring right now. Does anybody have any insight to share that might help me get my foot in the door somewhere? Please help...

Light colors are the best when it comes to decorating a room -- it makes things more cheery.
I've always found Hannamint furniture to be the best to use in a sun room or guest room. smiling face

Interior decoration deals with the home renovations that can be easily and quickly changed, and at lower budgets such as changing kitchen cabinets, selecting wall paper, selecting furniture and usually does not deal with structural building codes.

For bedrooms and specially dens, put an exhaust fan on the ceiling or wall farthest from the window. It will suck-in the cold air outside and keep the air inside the room fresh and cool. This can even save you electricity bills by not using your air conditioner during cool months. Some of us wants our bedrooms to be dark even late in the day specially when we sleep late. Thus some of us put up very dark curtains. Deep colored curtains against a light colored wall comes very strong. It is better to have your walls a shade darker and the curtain a little lighter to lessen the contrast. An alternative is to use two layered curtains instead one that is very dark.Aside from the typical center light on the middle of the ceiling, use lampshades, pin lights and up lights for mood lighting. These type of lighting gives dark and light patterns of light in the room.

I agree on your advices. In addition, it is also a good idea if you add some personal touch on your room. In that way you will feel comfort and that you are really on your own room. You can also so this on the other rooms based on what your family member want.

Thank you for these nice tips and advice. I have to agree. Add neutral colors to your furniture and walls and rather add brighter colors with your decorations such as scatter cushions, flowers, paintings or a rug.
