This apartment has so much character, I love it! The only thing that I don't like is the one wall that is covered in wood paneling (blech). My landlord is allowing me to paint it whatever color I choose. I am looking for a bold, different color that will help to make the room seem larger and brighter as the ceilings in the living room are much lower than the rest of the apartment.

Great apartment i think. Try to select paint from metallic paint collection for your walls. Give more protection, shining and more life for your building. Lets try and get right now.

Maybe you should describe your apartment a bit better. E.g. what colors are the the other walls, what color is your furniture and drapes? In that way the users of this forum will get an better impression and you for sure could get way more advices and recommendations.

Hello guys!

I would pick the stain first then decide what colors to paint the walls. Stained wood is such a personal preference I couldn't make suggestions. Your kitchen dining area looks like it is completely separate from the rest of the house so you could go with any wall/decor color you wanted.

You want to choose a paint over a wall, you choose a off-white,blue,light yellow or a pink paint and also a some design you choose on then this looks a very nice and give a better look to room and you also consult a interior designer they give a proper suggestion.

If you are looking for bold colours, it'll make the room look smaller. Use subtle colours.

The best bold colour combination I can think of is black and white. Also, black and white makes small spaces look bigger and brighter.
